Ford Files Suit Against WWE Superstar John Cena

You in fact did not read that headline wrong. Apparently Ford doesn't like it when you have the privilege of purchasing a new Ford GT Supercar and then selling it for a profit

Yesterday, Ford took the steps to sue WWE Superstar John Cena in United States District Court, over what the deem is a breach of contract on John Cena's part. fraudulent misrepresentation, and unjust enrichment.

Now I am not going to dissect the entire basis of the lawsuit for you, though I will include the downloadable PDF at the end. In essence, when you purchase a new Ford GT, you are contractually obligated to retain ownership of said vehicle for a period of at least 24 months. After taking delivery of his GT, John sold the car within weeks.

Ford found out that he sold the car and stated that he needed to "get the car back" and that Ford would initiate a buy back from Mr. Cena. It's a very interesting read and brings up so many other questions. Like, when is your half million dollar supercar not really yours.
