NHRA Pro Stock Superstar Larry Morgan going Pro Mod
/We are sure this isn't really breaking news at this point for anyone following the pro mod scene, but today Larry made it official with his entry into pro mod for the 2017 season opener in Gainesville.
Based on what we know at this time, Larry will be driving a 2017 BAE powered 521 Camaro with a blower sitting atop the 521. Larry had previously revealed that he will also be competing in the ADRL this season. From our understanding that will be in extreme pro stock though.
For years Larry has been a fierce NHRA Pro Stock competitor over the years. He has numerous NHRA national event wins and round wins. We didn't see much of Larry at all during the 2016 season due to a lack of funding though. It appears that the primary sponsor for the Gainesville race is Brad Anderson Enterprises and FryMiller.
As you can tell, the last couple of days have been filled with awesome happenings. From NHRA superstars to small tire icons making announcements that they were coming to play in one of the toughest drag racing classes on the planet. And Larry certainly has the experience to make him a player no matter where he shows up.
