Cruz Pedregon Looking to Build Off of Career Best Pass Heading Into the Gatornationals

Cruz, who is a two-time NHRA World Champion, and been one of the most successful single car team owner/driver in the last 20 years is set to build off of a career best pass two weeks ago in Arizona sun. The Snap-On team, with MakersAndFixers heads to Gainesville this week in search of their first Wally of the season.

After the Snap-on® "Makers and Fixers" Dodge® SRT® Hellcat® put down a career best run of 3.861 in Phoenix, the team headed home to Indy to work in the shop before leaving for the Gatornationals.

"It's such an overall team effort, and the guys have been working hard this week to get a new chassis ready for its eastern debut," says Cruz. "I'm so proud of my guys and the way J.C. (John Collins) is chipping away at our times early in the season. It's fun to be a part of such a large Funny Car field and it's going to be a throw-down tough season. But the Snap-on Makers and Fixers Dodge is solid and we're making consistent runs. We're ready to gas and go and see what we can do."

Cruz's primary body this year highlights a call to the Makers and Fixers to share their stories at makersandfixers.com. An addition to the paint scheme this week will be the name of the Snap-on Nitro Franchisee for Gainesville, Trent Comer. He says what he likes most about the Snap-on franchise business is "selling to everyday Americans" who are fans of the company's products. Trent has multiple Snap-on mobile stores and will be bringing his team with him to the track this weekend.
