Sweet 16 POSTPONED!! No Mercy Update As Well.

And yet again the ridiculousness and rabid fear of this virus has cost us another event. This time it is one of the most premier drag radial races in the world. Donald Long has been forced to Postpone the Sweet 16 event that was set to be held next week at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

This was set to be the 3rd Annual running of this event. Even though the spectator count is kept to a minimum, an exclusive engagement if you will, it was decided in tandem with city and county officials that the event would not be able to take place out of an overabundance of caution regarding the Coronavirus outbreak.

This marks just another event in a long line of events that have been forced to shut down or be rescheduled, including NHRA Gatornationals, No Prep Kings Tucson, NASCAR, Indy, TX2K (No Fans Allowed), and many other major sporting events.

Sweet 16 is now going to be the old No Mercy date in October. 9-11th 2020. No Mercy parking will follow the Monday morning after. No Mercy will be held the week after Sweet 16, with parking beginning on Monday the 12th for No Mercy.

All Sweet 16 fields are already locked in.
