No Prep Kings (NPK) 2020 Schedule Drops

It has been a while, and everyone within the drag racing community has been waiting on this to finally come out. Well, here it is.
I know the first thing that some of my readers will be thinking is “why is he writing about this?” and the fact is, as I have discussed before, NPK and that style racing is extremely important to not only the drag racing world but the business of drag racing too.
The first thing I notice is that there are no races in June and July, which is great for the racers because let’s face it when it’s 100 degrees outside, no one wants to be out there. Unfortunately, with that said, there are some races that overlap with other large events that aren’t no prep events. This is just the way things go within the industry at this point. There are only so many weekends each year, and there are a lot more tracks and events than there are weekends available.
Personally, I have to give those that operate the NPK series a lot of credit as well. The schedule really spans the entire United States. From the upper corner of the west coast to the coast of Florida and up to higher points of the east. This is exactly how you engage people in our sport. You build a countrywide following by actually going to these tracks and span the country.
My belief is that the racers will get to experience so much by traveling to these places and bringing their fan base with them. I wish all the teams, drivers, and fans the best this season. Some fast, safe, and entertaining racing.
