Breaking NMCA/NMRA News
/We just learned tonight that our close friend Roger Conley has been named the new NMRA/NMCA National Tech Director.
For those that don’t know, Roger was previous the head guy in charge over at Precision Turbo, and when in that position was vital to PTE being a coverage partner and supporter of E3xtreme for multiple years. We couldn’t be happier for Roger, along with all the racers in the NMRA and NMCA series.
Roger will bring a wealth of first hand knowledge to the position from his years in the industry. There are so many different classes that you have to attempt to keep parity in and I personally feel that Roger will do a great job moving forward with this position. Below is the formal press release we received regarding Roger’s position at NMRA/NMCA.
Breaking News—Roger Conley Named NMRA/NMCA National Tech Director
Santa Ana, CA (February 8, 2019) The NMRA Ford Nationals and NMCA Muscle Car Nationals is proud to announce Roger Conley as the National Tech Director, overseeing technical and safety operations for the leading street-legal drag racing organization. Conley comes to ProMedia Events & Publishing with extensive experience in data acquisition and power adder segments along with a high-level of motorsports background that spans over 30 years.
“We are excited to bring Roger and RC2 Motorsports into the NMRA and NMCA sanctioning bodies, he is well-respected in the racing community and brings a very unique set of skills to the position thanks to his 15 year career at Racepak where he worked with professional and sportsman race teams and most recently as the General Manager of Precision Turbo and Engine,” said Rollie Miller, General Manager and National Event Director at ProMedia Events & Publishing.
“It is both humbling and exciting to work with the ProMedia group, I am looking forward to being part of its growth and helping in the success of the organization,” shared Conley, as he moves into a role where he will help shape the street-legal drag racing market.
Conley begins immediately and he is quickly getting up to speed on the 2019 rulebook while preparing for the season opening events—the 25th annual NMRA Spring Break Shootout (February 28-March 3) and the 17th annual NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem (March 7-10) at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
