David & Tracy Pearson Going NMCA racing along with NitrousX

While wandering the pits this morning I ran across my friends the Pearsons. Of course I had to stop and snap some photos of their would famous calypso green Mustang. I doing so I noticed some changes. Then David and Tracy let me in on the fact that they have decided to go NMCA racing, along with NitrousX class racing.

There were some obvious changes to the car, including a new front end that the paint was still drying on. Along with that was the brand new Bennett Racing, MBE headed engine between the rails. As usual though there was a Procharger supercharger bolted up in front and UPR suspension underneath. One of the more noticeable changes was the new header design, which as you can see is a vertical design.

The big shock was when they told me they have decided to go NMCA Radial Wars racing this season. The plan is to start off in Atlanta, as they are also racing NitrousX with their twin car. David hopes that the off season changes really make a big difference in the performance as well. Better heads on the motor should see a great improvement in the way the car makes power as well.

Tracy let me know that they has also teamed up with David Vasser, the Founder of Nitrous Outlet to run the entire NitrousX season as well. They plan on doing that with the newly built "twin" to their Procharger car. This car though will  be powered by a Kevin Dalton of Dalton Race Engines setup along with a Nitrous Outlet nitrous system. Based on what we have seen out of David and Tracy before, this will be a heavy hitter in that class.
