NHRA Pro Stock Decides to go 16 Car at all 24
/If the ever changing saga that is the NHRA Pro Stock class, it was announced this weekend that the NHRA Pro Stock class would be full fields at all 24 races next season.
We had reported based on information that we had at the time that Pro Stock was going to only run 18 races next season (2018), and then it came out that they would run full fields at 18 races but shortened fields at the other six (6) races. Now it has been determined that they will run a full field of cars in 2018 at all 24 NHRA races.
As we have all seen this season, Pro Stock seems to be the class that less and less people are tuning in to watch. There appear to be so many issues with the Pro Stock world that I seriously doubt "full fields" at all 24 races will be the key to helping the class. Later in the offseason, we will be presenting a full editorial in regards to the health of the NHRA Pro Stock class, but for now, here is the news that NHRA has announced.
