While this may have been a terribly kept secret over the last month or so, NHRA finally dropped the news yesterday that they will be kicking off the 2023 season in Florida with the Gatornationals.

Adding to the announcement that the NHRA would kick off the season in Florida, they released the scheduled dates for the first four races of the 2023 season. After the Gators they head out west to Phoenix for one last stand at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, as the facility will be closing to make way for other things. Once those two are in the books, then it’s time for Pomona and Vegas.

March 9-12: 54th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, Gainesville Raceway, Gainesville. The race will also include the Pep Boys All-Star Top Fuel Callout.

March 24-26: 38th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals, Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, Phoenix.

March 30-April 2: 63rd annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com, Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, Pomona.

April 14-16: 23rd annual NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas.
