Obviously this is something that we never like to report, but over the weekend at Capitol Raceway during the Country Boyz vs. City Boyz Shootout/Car show there was a shooting that occurred.

PER THE ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT:

On April 23, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to Capitol Raceway in Gambrills for a double shooting. Upon arrival, officers learned that an adult male and an adult female had been shot. Both victims were transported to an area trauma center and are expected to survive their injuries. There was a large-scale event on location, yet detectives are unable to locate any witnesses. They ask anyone with any information to call Western District at 410-222-6155 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
