Craig Sullivan Full Speed Ahead Into 2019 with the Barn Burner Pro Mod
While many race teams are catching their breath, Craig Sullivan is fortifying his assault on the 2019 race season. Craig is proud to welcome Nick Bacalis to the Barn Burner Pro Mod team. Nick brings a wealth of knowledge from his time with Chip King and Tony Pontieri previously as well as the last five years with Tony Bischoff at BES Racing Engines. Nick will be full-time at the Swamp Distillery and Race Shop in Danville, Indiana.
“I am looking forward to helping Craig elevate his racing program”, says Bacalis. “
Since debuting the Super Charged Dodge Daytona for the 2016 season, Craig has raced with NMCA, the National Muscle Car Association as well as the Mid-West Pro Mod Series and plans to compete in all six of the NMCA races in 2019 as well as 15+ other events. Barn Burner finished fifth in the NMCA Pro Mod points’ championship for 2018.
Bacalis joins Andy Smith from Pro Tree Race Cars as well as Joe Oplawski from Hyperaktive Performance Solutions who will return to Craig Sullivan Motorsports for 2019.
“Nick and I have been friends for years and the time was right for Nick to join my team. He has a wealth of knowledge as well as a fierce work ethic”, says Sullivan. “Adding Nick to the teamfills in a missing piece to our Championship run for 2019.”
Another huge announcement for 2019 is the Barn Burner Pro Mod will be sporting Radials for the teams’ debut at Light’s Out 10 in February at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Longtime friend Mark Woodruff has been instrumental in bringing Craig to the radial world and the two look forward to this adventure.
