So as I am sure some of you have seen on social media, there was a loss that happened at the race track yesterday. The car previously owned by David DeMarco suffered a significant, and unexpected incident.

To avoid further speculation we are here to set the record straight. We have spoken to those close to the situation,including Dennis from DMC, and the fact is that there was a parts failure during the pass. The car was being driven by the new owner, when the parts failure occurred. There was nothing that could have or should have been done differently. This was on the 3rd pass of the day in fact. Due to the failure, it appears that it backfired the blower, resulting in the fire. 

The driver was able to get out of the car uninjured.  At this time Dennis has stated that the intention is to rebuild the car, and anyone who knows Dennis and the work that comes out of DMC Racing knows that it is top of the line. They have asked for patience and privacy in regards to this event.  When there is more information, we will bring it to you.
