PDRA Invades the Historic Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis
It's Friday, time to go racing. E3xtreme is on the property at the historic Lucas Oil Raceway for the PDRA Mid America Indy Showdown. This is the first time that the PDRA has brought their show to Indy.
PDRA, the gold standard for 1/8th mile Pro Mod racing, has gone outside their comfort box and brought the show up north. There is no place more fitting than Indy to bring the show. This weekend we are going to see the Pro Nitrous cars continue to fight for those points, as we have a points spread of only 6 between Jay Cox and last years World Champion Tommy Franklin.
In Pro Boost, number one in points, El General is on the property to maintain his healthy points lead. The other news in Pro Boost is that #3 in point Tylor Miller and the PeeDee Fleet car was unable to make the trip to Indy due to some injuries that Tylor suffered in a non racing accident.
If you thought that Pro Nitrous was a close points race, Pro Extreme is even closer. The race right now is between Mike Reechia & Tommy D' Aprile who are separated by a measly three points. This is a points race that will be tight all season.
If you are into Pro Mod racing, this weekend in Indy is where you should be. A historic track, tight points races, and everything else a race fan could want. Don't forget that we will also see Bikes, Dragsters, Brackets, and the insane naturally aspirated beast of Extreme Pro Stock.
